Description

EverStep’s EverPrime is an acrylic floor preparation solution designed to improve flooring substrates before the application of floor-covering adhesives. EverPrime will improve dry, porous substrates for a better bonding surface, help protect the adhesive from alkalinity damage and improve adhesive spread rate. EverPrime is suitable for use over APA approved flooring grade plywood, concrete or acoustical concrete and floor patch and can prevent over absorption of adhesives resulting in a better bond. EverPrime may also be used as a primer for gypsumbased substrates prepared in accordance with ASTM F2419. EverPrime is designed and warranted for use only in conjunction with EverTite Adhesive.

Preparation

The smoothness and cleanliness of concrete subfloors must meet or exceed the requirements of ASTM F710. Fill all holes and cracks with a latex fortified Portland cement based patching compound. EverStep only recommends the use of latex fortified Portland cement based products as a satisfactory patching or leveling compound. The floor should be flat 3/16” in a 10 foot span. The installation site must be acclimated with HVAC in operation. The installation site, as well as flooring materials and adhesive, must be maintained at 65°-85°F, and the humidity between 45-65% for 48 hours prior to, during, and continuously after the installation. Read technical bulletin for floor preparation before using this product. This document may be obtained by calling EverStep Flooring at 844-296-4669.
